History and Philosophy

Our educational roots

Pauline’s Garten has served the Bávaro community for years with a school model connected to the long Christian education tradition of Pensacola and the Abeka academic approach. The school’s story is also a family story: a desire to educate children with excellence while keeping faith and character at the center.

How students learn

Our early literacy approach begins from age three and builds step by step through phonetic reading, handwriting, vocabulary, comprehension, classroom routines, and joyful practice. As students grow, the program becomes broader and deeper, preparing them for primary and secondary expectations.

  • Learning should be structured but warm
  • Students need repetition, challenge, and encouragement
  • The home and school must communicate clearly
  • Education should form character, not only grades
